I got a verbal offer from Deloitte after my interview and after a week of not hearing back. I emailed my Recuiter about the status and this is what I received “I am working with my internal project teams to get a staffing assignment lined up for you in regards to an offer. Sometimes this process can take a week or so more to sort out.” It’s been over a week from that email and still no official letter. What does that email mean?

I’m interviewing for a start up and the role sounds interesting. Usually for the “test” part of the interview I’ve had to analyze data. This company wants me to develop a growth strategy that outlines key initiatives for growth, different opportunities, experiments I’d run, KPIs, and working cross-functionally.

Is this a lot for an interview?

I’m a little afraid of doing all this work to then just have them take my ideas and not hire me.

Right so here’s a bit of a dilemma I work to a much higher standard at home and it’s this high standard that means I’m in line for a promotion. I’ve grown so much and I feel really strong in my role I’m also busier than ever. The problem is we’re going back into the office and I don’t want to go in if it’s just going to be senior management in asking me to get them lunches for client meetings or fetch a glass of water and cutlery for meeting rooms.
