I got into an HSW, but I’m concerned my low GMAT (700) might keep me out of jobs in VC or MBB. Should I/ do I need to retake?

Just heard my H1B petition was approved. Visa will be valid starting Oct 1, 2021. I am also scheduled to get promoted in October (unsure of which date exactly). Hypothetically, if I get promoted from Account Coordinator to Account Manager I on Oct 5, after my H1B kicks in on Oct 1, how would this work logistically? I have a month left till my GMAT. Should I start solving the official questions timed or solve more untimed until I feel more comfortable? Asking because TTP is religiously advising on untimed strategy, but I’m currently struggling with timing especially CR; untimed sessions often make me take 3-4 minutes per question (80-90% accuracy).
