The moral of the story: Keep your chin up. Focus on good things. Don’t sink to their level. Well, maybe just a lil bit 😜. Keep giving back to people who need help. Remind yourself that you are deserving of respect and love. Speak it into existence. Breathe. Please don’t lose hope. This is a very difficult industry we’re in. We are working amongst dinosaurs who grew up in the old ways and don’t want to truly let go. We are working against systemic issues that devalue humans and myopic people who only see us as numbers on a spreadsheet. Happy Friday. Fuck them. Take the weekend OFF. For real. Celebrate. You deserve it.

Good for you. Karma always finds a way; helping others in this difficult time surely gave you the positive momentum that led you to this path. Well done.

Good for you! Whenever something goes wrong with work for myself or someone I know, I always say "it'll work out in the end" because honestly, it always does! Sometimes these things have to happen for you to get a much better opportunity.

And by burn-out, I mean you're at the point that every single ball you are juggling can drop and you get fired and almost see that as a blessing.
