Hi Fishes
I would like to know about the client interviews (especially in data science or machine learning roles).
Are these interviews tough?
Are these interviews meant to assess technical knowledge? For example, what is binomial distribution, what are different data structures in python, ml algorithms etc.
I would request each of the nagarrians to share their thoughts irrespective of the technologies you are working.
I am thankful to you for taking time and helping me out.
Nagarro
Do recruiters ever reply to any of these threads
Hello Guys,
I joined Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?
As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

Listen, years back.. I had a sluggish recruitment process. I mean terrible. I felt the interviews went well (most candidates do) - but so do 100’s of applicants that don’t hear back. That said, as I waited (much like you) in between phases - I thought 3 weeks was going to be a ghosting. I actually sent an email to the CEO, my role would report into him, and listed out why my background would fill his current gap and attached a 30-60-90 day. He actually replied that night and a month later I was hired.
All that said, this is the most brutal job market in history. Largely due to Biden, that will end soon and not to get political, but that’s 100% the reason. You are competing with hundreds of applicants, most over qualified and all screen very well. With the use of AI and other tools, even your undereducated and bad actors look sharp - so it’s a harsh market. Throw your Hail Mary pass today if you want to be considered, bc most candidates moving forward hear back within 72 business hours.
Assuming you followed up immediately after that interview, I’d say you’re at a point where you should be doing so again. If you didn’t, it’s likely too late
Same here...I keep going to interviews, it's hard to get a job nowadays without referrals.
I'm a hiring manager in NYC and I appreciate an aggressive sales rep....... I feel if you are going to chase me you will chase the customer. Next day send a Thank you Text
Well stated, no better demonstration than to sell yourself into a job.
72 business hours in this current market.
