I had my technical and HR discussion in Accenture two days ago..In the HR discussion the compensation I asked for the HR said that you have to be open for negotiation for it.. ofcourse I told yes..And she told that now your talent coach/recruiter will get back on offer deatils...then I got a call to submit LOA and rest of pending documents from a different HR yesterday...Now my status in Accenture portal shows as below - Does it mean that they have kept me on hold and offer won't be released?

Anyone know what kind of experience or certifications I should be aiming to get if I'm trying to break into a pentest role? I just graduated last year and have about a year of sysadmin experience and am trying to get into it asap. So, I'm already applying/job hunting and probably won't get much replies but. Should I be looking at more security analyst/admin roles first? Going for certs? Getting a masters? Wondering what I can do to improve my chances. TIA

I've recieved an offer from Morgan Stanley, my previous salary was around 6 Lpa and last offered was around 15 Lpa (WFH), I quoted 40 to 45% on top of that around 22 Lpa considering Mumbai location, WFO and Glassdoor pay range.
Did I just do a mistake by quoting too high a number? Please let me know your opinions.
