Wanted to highlight Prudential Financial’s hiring practices. They rescinded my offer once I attempted to negotiate the salary. The official reason given was that I didn’t “sound excited enough”.
They then admittedly gave the offer to someone who was less qualified. There were other red flags throughout the job offer process that the HR team should overall be ashamed of.

Take three payslips n leave :p
Outside. Current organization will bring your resignation in subsequent appraisal/promotion

If current company gives updated offer letter + you like the profile and team
Then stay back
Else leave
It depends on why you resigned. If you resigned due to the work culture, or some other dissatisfaction, you should leave.
Once you have decided to go, just move. Retention is one of the biggest trap at this time. Keep moving, keep growing.

101 > 78. Simple math bro/sis. 🤷🏻♂️
If you like your team, work culture, then stay. It will save you one switch. So in case if you don't like current org six months later, you can start interviewing with current CTC as 178% of current.
