Don't quit unless it's really your only option to improve your mental health. Otherwise, you're trading one major stressor for another. Keep looking, but give the job market a few months to rebound and be patient. Take personal days here and there to make life more doable in the meantime. Work on your resume and reach out to/have conversations with contacts so they know you're looking and can send you roles as they arise. Good luck and hang in there.
Don’t quit.
Signed an unemployed marketer
Don’t quit without a new job, unless your mental health is at stake. I’ve been sending resumes out after being laid off for the last 5 months with not one interview. The market is super tough and most companies are not hiring, just collecting resumes
It’s always like this before an election.
Don’t quit, Easier to find a job when you have a job. They are also more likely to give you a raise. Unfortunately the longer a person is unemployed. The easier it is for a company to low ball them. I pivoted out of toxic healthcare by way of freelance. As long as it’s a contract to hire role. Or at least a year. Give you enough time to reset. The good thing about contract is they also will try to keep you within the 40 hours a week. Which In turn means WLB & helps you confirm the company is right for you as well.
Only everybody
If money is not a factor then quit. I’ve been wanting to quit for years but with a family and poor financial decisions, I am stuck.
Being risk adverse as well is also handcuffing me to this job.
