I miss BNA 🥺
For those asking where to donate
I have offer from Nagarro for 32 LPA(1.6 variable) and another from Turing of 34 LPA (2.5 Variable) I don't want to Join Turing, but can I negotiate with Nagarro based on Turing offer to increase my package? Or is it too risky since I don't have any other offer. What are chances if negotiation fails they(Nagarro) resind the offer?

If you are to be solopreneur, not really - if you are looking to be on a contract role, some place may require, but given your yrs of experience, probably okay w/o it
Short answer: No
Long answer: Depends. Some places require them to work as a (contracted) coach.
Over time, certifications have become required by coaching companies like BetterUp. Would you go to a doctor or financial advisor that wasn’t licensed?
It’s only a matter of time before 1) one or more of the big coach certification companies creates a marketing campaign about the importance of coaching, or 2) states begin to require this and registration to generate additional revenue.
I haven’t seen a job (and by job I don’t mean “join us and learn how to build your own business”…an actual job with an organization, that doesn’t require credentialing from ICF.
I HIGHLY recommend the certification/program at Rutgers University known as LCOP that is delivered by Heidrick & Stuggles. It’s amazing! Then, once you’ve completed 200hrs of coaching you may sit for the ICF exam for your first level, ACC, credentialing.
If you are building your own practice, the credentialing isn’t re
ACC only requires 100 hrs. PCC requires 500.
PS - In my LCOP cohort (search: LCOP at Rutgers), a good number of the folks had a similar background.l to yours. Universally it was thought that the education in the LCOP program was invaluable and a game changer. I highly recommend it!
Certification is recognized mainly by the certification body, if that is not your customer (holding trainings or workshops for other coaches) it will be rarely the case.
However completing a coaching program is necessary especially if you ever intend to work with leaders with experience/ exposure above your own - that's where your training can save you from painful pitfalls (speaking from experience before I've done proper coaching training)
