If this guy really had “4 years of experience in FDD”, then he would know he could literally just ask for a pro forma adjustment to his pay at whatever level he would like. Works every time in my head.
If PwC pay is terrible then I’m homeless
Dudes probably making 200k TC at 30 and complaining about it not being enough 😂
The median Harvard Business School grad class of 2022 makes $220k TC.
That’s in line for UHCOL TC for FDD managers at PwC with an above average bonus.

Are you new here? PwC pays the most for FDD among the big4.

If you’re unsatisfied with pay then go get what you’re worth. Similar to investments, risk is rewarded.
So go forth and take risks. Personally, I find anything worth doing is going to be scary.
^ This is the way.

Pwc pays very well. We are in different worlds

I’ve been very happy with the comp model at A&M for FDD compared to B4, but I never wanted to grind the IB hours.
Thanks for everyone's input into how much I think my value should be, some of you might think you are earning what you think you should be at your age but not everyone thinks the same. The fact that most of these comments are coming from big 4 peeps just kind of prove my point that I need to get out asap.
EY3, I mean it looks as if FDD background can go to M7 easily lol
Calm down people…why is everyone so defensive when someone else complains about their pay?
But OP, reality is - PwC is already the highest-paying big four for FDD. If you are not happy with your pay but still like deals, maybe try A&M. Boutique IB is not as fancy as it sounds, and honestly most Corp Dev roles don’t pay significantly well compared to what you have now.
Yea can confirm - took a slight pay decrease to jump to corp dev
Honestly could not imagine your pay being "terrible" 4 years into FDD at PWC. Either you live vhcol or it could be a bench situation
I'm sure it can't be worse than 73k (audit fwiw) I feel so poor on this app sometimes lmao
Yep. My mom has worked in corporate accounting/reporting most of her professional life. She’s constantly reminding me not to go into industry unless it’s like a csuite/vp position.

I actually think it would be helpful for you to state your expected next twelve months pay so people can give realistic recommendations. if your TC is > $200k and you think you'll get a raise moving to your first corporate job, you'd be mistaken. if you want to get into a role making > $400k within a few years, IB is your route and you know it. A&M might get you close as a manager and up in busy years
