I have a BSW in Virginia, 6 years CPS/foster care prevention case management experience, and I prefer mezzo work where I do direct service only about half the time. I like a combo of independence/collaboration/structure with a little supervision for myself and a few opportunities to mentor colleagues. I thought I wanted to work towards management roles or even in policy work, but now I’m finding myself drawn to the clinical/psych realm. Any advice? Any career moves without more school?
