Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

Don't listen to them they know jackshit. They would think "capturing 5 critical business dispositions in executives meeting for an enterprise of 200,000 employees" is a quantifiable "achievement" when all you did was took notes in a meeting in 5 bullet points.
Yeah I would consider hiring a resume writer.
Are my bullets that bad? I find in consulting ive done a ton of random niche work.
I had a project involving integration of data from 1000 gas stations just to create a feature to improve a forecasting model by 1%. I find these all hard to describe succinctly
Checkout Harvard CV and resume guild. It helped me a lot, at least I got a good job. You can find it online.
Completely unrelated, but writing about explaining complex concepts in simple language reminded me of this post. To this day one of the best explanations of PCA I've read, and really demonstrates the value of knowing how to provide what's most useful for your intended audience! https://stats.stackexchange.com/a/140579
Advice?
Example bullets:
Said they couldn’t understand:
Developed machine learning model to automate classification of high risk customers. Model in production across 90 retail locations, saving over 1.2M/year
Or
Said too vague
Identified top drivers of customer churn by applying supervised learning models to survey data in Python
Said too detailed:
Achieved 20% reduction in material waste by implementing ARIMA and Prophet models in Python
Really don’t understand what’s so confusing about the first one... it sounds interesting and would absolutely provoke me to ask questions to understand even better if I was interviewing you
Your bullet points need to be concisely listed in STAR format (Situation, Task, Action, Result) with metrics. The business problem was W and would require X. I did Y which resulted in Z effectively solving the issue by N%. Then you give additional detail during the interview. Your first bullet nor the second clearly lays out the business problem (situation). How does high risk connect to savings? How many high risk customers were there? Were they aware of high risk customers previously? etc.
On the too detailed side - might be because your role doesn’t involve ARMIA and Prophet models/they don’t know what it is. If it’s not applicable and your recruiter won’t have an idea what it is, don’t include it.
Too vague one is true, no idea what your impact is from the sentence.
For the understanding one, the impact/second sentence is great. First sentence would need case context to understand how it actually applies, which would require looking at your entire resume. General tip, your first bullet can provide more of that overarching framing, while subsequent ones can be more tailored, like the one you provided.
of course!! Best of luck with the job hunt
What kind of recruiters? I think your first bullet is excellent.
Mostly for Fortune 500 companies, non tech industry
