I have a year of full-time analyst experience at a consulting and research firm. I graduated with my MPH last year. I am having a hard time finding a job. I want to leave my current company because of many reasons. One is that I am very underpaid and another being I am extremely overworked.

I am looking for consulting roles or analyst/associate roles.

Any recommendations or advice on what to do? Are any companies hiring?

With 13.5 Lpa currently i’m at 12 and made switch on march.
Though my current company is an mnc but not that big and no work pressure is there, amazing work life balance. However, there is little to no learning and its very slow, the project is just starting and the client itself is not clear what they want. Do you think I should switch just because its a big 4. Anyone know how to get a position as an HRBP without HRPB experience? All positions I've looked at want previous experience. Would over 5 years of HR experience and a PHR suffice, or what skills should be added to that?

Anyone have any idea when the hiring freeze might end within AWS ProServ? I’m currently at Amazon and have a TS clearance, PMP & CSM. I come from a Big4 consulting firm with a background in Enterprise Performance. I’ll be honest and say I’m not feeling very safe in my current role with the ongoing layoffs. Left consulting and started in FinTech this week. My senior manager was shocked we had to bill time hourly/daily and now I will never have to fill out a timesheet again except for PTO.

Is there any advice for networking into projects when you don’t know many people at the firm yet? I always to help on BD work when I’m on the bench, but it never turns into any billable work. Every time I have talked to a partner/senior manager I was told I don’t have the skill set they’re looking for, but I don’t know how to build up from there.
