I have an Amex gold and signed up in Jan 2021. Annual fee is about to hit and don’t feel like I get enough use out of the card to renew for another year (the rest of my cards are at Chase and want to keep my points in that system). If I cancel after the annual fee posts is there a risk of Amex clawing back my sign up bonus?

I’m moving to the UK from US this winter and likely won’t be coming back in a long time. Does it make sense to cancel my credit cards (CSR, Amex plat) and open UK cards instead (phaps UK amex)?
