I would go for the Director of research with better life balance to work from home and better matching

I’d also add to M1- consider what stage in life you’re in. If you’re looking for WLB then ditto M1, but if you imagine this might not be the role you retire in, JPMC’s name/rep might open more doors for another jump in the future

You have an MBA and these are the lowball offers you received?!

I have 3-5 years depending on the role. But part of that experience is internships and due to Covid the roles are broken up. It’s not 3 years at one job. My prior titles include

External affairs associate
Research assistant
Communications specialist
Tennis director

1. Then negotiate a sign on bonus.

Number 2. What city are you in?

Hi, I have 6 years of experience as a developer and have offers from, Harman Connected Services(WebAPI Developer - 20 LPA), bank of america(Senior Developer II - 20 LPA), Siemens Energy(Desktop developer-20LPA), NSR Information System(Senior Software Engineer -20LPA), Tech M, Cognizant, Kellton Tech, FIS Global, Mind tree. Packages are in the range 20+. Which company should I join for good projects and good wlb?

I was doing some googling and I saw that PWC offers MBA hires 45k in comparison to MBBs at 70k +. Is this a bad joke? I can't imagine that PWC's target for MBA hires is widely different from MBB. In the US, the pay gap isn't that wide. Any reason behind this madness?

Hi! I have a quick question and could use some advice:

I have 1 job offer that is an hour away and pays 45k, after negotiations (Research Associate Position at a University) .

I have just interviewed for a position closer to home and a base salary of 65k, but haven’t heard back from them in about 2 days (He said he would make a decision by yesterday and I’ve reached out).
I have to decide on the first offer by Thursday but I haven’t heard back from the second yet. Thoughts on next move?

In the future, after a few years, let’s say I’m at a small company and want to switch to big big company, will the “small names” hurt my chance to get into the big doors?

I mean big big company is like 10x bigger than the small one if this was a factor. Assume everything else the same, WLB, commute, teams, etc.
