I have interview scheduled and completed from Commonwealth Bank Bangalore location. All technical rounds cleared.
When I called HR i got a surprise answer..
They mentioned the position which I have intervied is different than the salary rem ranges. And my current salary is higher than position what they have got and asked for approval for rem ranges changes..
Is any one faced this? Ideally HR should know expectation and allocation before scheduling intervjew..

Jr. Cw Salary in LA?
I have some doubt regarding pf contribution... Say for example.. 12% of my base salary is 600 which gets deducted from my salary.. on the flip side.. the company has to contribute 600 to my pf (which is actually deducted from my salary only like already part of CTC)?. So my question again is that.. the company contributes 600 as well? PwC

I disagree with the other comment - yes up front take home is lower. But it is industry not consulting - so different pace of life. And the transportation and compound means you could notionally add another 10-20k to the salary (depending on the compound/ transport options) so Circa 70-80k SAR in current market - it is not mind blowing - equally not bad gig
I've been told by other internationals in the team that working past 5pm is rare

Take it. Do you have a better offer that helps you save as much or more? If not, I don’t understand why what the others make matters to you if that path is closed to you.
The question you should be asking is how to make it as seamless and less painful for your family to transition. The quality of schools in Riyadh is abysmal from what I hear. And the city isn’t well designed for non Saudis and non Arabic speakers to move around and live in so you and your family will massively struggle at the beginning.
Signing bonus 75k already locked in and they are giving me flights for the whole fam too
If you are keen on relocating, take it no questions asked. Consulting here in the region is doomed and makes your life miserable. Don’t compare oranges (your offer) with rotten apple (ME consulting salaries)
Good point SC1. I'm not close to the dynamics there but atleast this industry job is very stable and I won't have to fight in reviews every few months
The bonus is also pretty much guaranteed in this company

Great offer
Your biggest spend buckets - rent + education are covered.
So you should save about 45k a month

Yep great offer! If you save that much a month mashallah that’s elite

Intl schooling for 2 kids + compound villa is another 400-800k SAR offer depending on how generous they are with kids schools - Aramco used to cover 70-80k usd/yr boarding schools in US/EU for key personnel
Take it

ultimately it depends on the value you bring at the table, this specific working relationship existed for years, but these offers are definitely rare nowadays - so it’s a wiser market
I would yet not be keen on being underpaid, especially that future opportunities in KSA will take in consideration this salary. I would aim for 80k minimum in your case, plus all the standard benefits you mentioned
Leave it
Greed has no limits so why stop at 60k only.
Its an okay offer. Not as bad as people above state when you factor in accommodation and transport covered. If you have kids and schooling is not covered then it starts to be too low..
International schooling is fully covered
What are you making now? How close are you to partner?
If you don’t like it send it my way 😎
