Hi Fishes, I have an interview with PwC AC in the coming week. My tech stack is Power BI, SQL, SSRS,SSIS and Tableau. YEO -4 Current CTC is 9 LPA. During the initial call with the recruiter he asked for ny expected CTC and I asked for 17 LPA. Can anyone from PwC comment on this? Is this too much to ask or is this what someone at my current level would get paid at PwC. Please let me know!!!! PwC PwC India Pwc AC Deloitte Deloitte USI

I’m a CCO. On my team, the thing that differentiates a CD from an ACD is that a CD has demonstrated solid leadership skills and also understands “business” (how does the client make money, how do WE make money, etc.). There’s no way I would be able to discern that difference from your book, as great as it might be.

I agree that the ACD to CD jump is not one I could understand from your book.
You need to switch companies to progress if you’re 5 years in and nothings happened
Yeah it could also just be a vibe you’re giving off. I’ve had friends who are very good. They were CDs applying for other cd jobs but they always made the interviewee question if this was a person he’d want to put on to lead a pitch. That’s usually the back of head question leaders ask themselves when hiring for CD

ACD > CD is about your roles and responsibilities on the project. For example, a CD may have only one or two check ins from a higher up during the whole project, and owns everything else from start to finish. The exact breakdown differs from place to place, so I’d discuss your current responsibilities vs your responsibilities at this new place to see what role makes the most sense for you.
Its not necessarily about you. Look at the whole organization and how your role fits in. Would promoting you benefit the agency in any way? Increase your billable rate? Show them how it would, and if they don't go for it, take a hike.
