I have been in the IT field for 15+ years. I just passed the COMPTIA Security +exam. What would be the best move to break into the field.

Anyone make the jump from aerospace and defense to consulting? I have offers from EY (Industry 4.0/digital), Alvarez and Marsal (PEPI), as well as West Monroe Partners (Digital). I'm a Sr Manager with 10YOE in industry. Does it make sense to jump ship to consulting as a Senior Associate or Manager?

Anyone made a successful switch from the Ad Agency world to consulting early on in their career? What drove you to it, was it worth it? Did you get the professional growth opportunities you were looking for?

What certifications are good for technical project manager? I was thinking to start with PSM and PSPO and then move to ITIL, ITSM. Not sure about this though. Not planning to do PMP as I think it’s more waterfall focused. Was also thinking about AWS. Any other certifications recommended?

What cert to go for next? Currently have AWS-SAA and Security+. Thinking about CISSP but how difficult is it compared to the AWS-SAA?

Can someone transition into PE Ops from an M&A background focused in ITDD, IT Value Creation, etc? Thank you.

I have been working as a data scientist since 2018 & have been the bread winner. I have neither been under a proper mentor nor with a team of peers from my field to help me out. I was alone and confused. I have never really got the chance to prove myself which makes me all the more depressed. I'm not sure what to do with my future, indecisive and low on confidence.

Im working in software currently but want to make a shift into cyber security, I am burnt out on the technical aspect of my current position and would like to make a switch into a cyber position where I play the role of an advisor for different teams, is this possible? what role should I be looking for and what path should I take?

Currently looking for my first job in Cybersecurity. I have a 4 year degree in CIS and emphasis in Security, but no Certifications yet. Asking for advise- is it possible to get my first job in this field without having a Cert yet? Or do most companies want a degree and certs right off the bat?
