I'm in McKinsey Implementation, but don't know anything about Workday. I don't think anyone really uses it. The supply chain and procurement work would likely be working with clients to identify savings opportunities, helping to develop RFPs, and ensuring clients capture the value. I'll add that joining a supply chain role doesn't mean you'll only do that type of work. You can still do more generalist work too if you want.
As for pay, I'm guessing that's at the implementation consultant level? I think they're paid $110k base plus a $15-$35k bonus, but I'm not certain. Associate salaries in MI were at $165k plus $15-35k when I joined.
Thank you very much! I would like to stick with Workday in some right but maybe the background would assist in this. Thinking despite it saying 3 YOE min I will apply in October. Will reach out for referrals etc but in your experience do they make much of a difference?
