I have been studying for FAR since September. Have not passed. I have studied for audit twice and failed twice (in March ‘22). I have passed BEC. I am getting discouraged studying for FAR but want to pass before 2024. I am also reading audit may become more challenging in 2024 and FAR may become easier. I am debating going back to study for audit because I feel I could pass. I am studying full time until I start my job Sept 1. Does anyone have any thoughts?

Are you working right now? I found audit to be a piece of cake when I was an auditor. This was years ago though.

I am working but on sabbatical for basically 1.5 months for the CPA exam. I took a break studying FAR during busy season

Are you using a study course?

like

I also used Becker. When I was studying, I did the multiple choice first to see where I needed help. Then, I watched the lecture and highlighted while really focusing on where I was struggling. Sometimes, if I really needed to memorize, I rewrote the mneumonic devices out on flashcards. I spent another night memorizing the pnuemonics and running through the flashcards. Then, I would do the multiple choice again. If I scored poorly, I would go back to the topics that I needed to. If you want, I can supplement your studying and tutor you/pick your brain. If interested private message me.

For those of you in healthcare related account management, what is your healthcare background? I am clinical and getting ready to hire a higher level account manager. I am really biased toward people with clinical/in hospital experience because, quite frankly, healthcare is a different beast - lots of hand holding and change management. I don’t want to miss the right person because of my bias, so im wondering how many healthcare related AMs have healthcare/clinical experience… thanks in advance!
