I have done my Masters in Microelectronics and did my internship in Qualcomm for one year (STA) due to recession and all I got full-time in another team. Ya, the team is good, but putting me for Infrastructure Engineer. My skillset are in RTL, Verification, and PD since I did my Masters and internship in this stuff. Now suddenly into Infrastructure Engineer(SanDieagoTeam). I want to know career path pros and cons like this does not involve much hardware (this is my interest). Suggestions?

I’m working in a large fund; market neutral public market strategy funds; am about to be recommended for a promotion to associate. However, an analyst position just opened up internally in Credit, which is where I aspire to be for the next ten years. More growth and more intellectual challenge.
