I have got incremented salary fifteen days ago. I am looking for a job change. Is it wrong if I ask increment based on my new salary? If people can ask for higher salary on the basis of an offer that they have, can't i ask on the basis of salary that I am actually getting? Some ppl say that companies will look at last three months salary. It is my first change. My demand is according to market standards.

Last week on Friday, I have given Hexaware interview and just after the first round of interview with the client and the manager ( 3 people in the interview panel) , I got the congratulations mail that I have cleared the interview process . I have received mail to submit all my documents and fill CAF form.. After doing all these,on Monday Hr called me to inform my offer letter is in progress.But then I got a rejection mail ,and after that Hr stopped picking my call .. @Hexaware
