I have offers from PwC and KPMG in their Financial services consulting practice - asset and wealth management, capital markets. Offer to join as Director in both - pay is almost the same. Looking for suggestions regarding a) brand - does pwc have an advantage over kpmg in terms of brand recognition? B) type of work? - it is related to to the brand question in a way C) exit opportunities

The big four conspire to pay CPAs far less than we are worth. Partners are paid millions and you’re only making $75k. You should have been starting at twice that.

I think it’d be helpful if those of us who have exited into Bay Area tech start a comp thread so others can benchmark.

Need genuine advise. Got a call from Oasis Resource management pvt ltd. They said that they can help in conducting interviews in canada or UK. Total 5 interviews. They will charge 72k for this and 2k for profile investigation. They claim that under work permit, accomodation, travel cost, meal will be borne by employer for whole work visa tenure along with salary as per profile and market standard.
