This is such an interesting perspective and something I’ve considered doing as well. I feel as though there has to be a reason why I am not good enough at something (even though that isn’t always true).
Ultimately, I think the only one who can answer that question is you. How have really put the effort into improving those skills? Good luck though! Talking to a dr about it likely can’t hurt.

I think of doing it all the time, even start on a few ideas to improve, and then quickly lose steam or something else takes away from it and it's left behind.
I am able to build habits of something though - like workout etc. Basically, anything which has a plan and certainty, I am fine. But otherwise it's fear, anxiety and racing thoughts that drown out any analytical thoughts.
My former VP Product always said that there is a bit of instinct that comes with being a PM that some people have and some don’t. I don’t want to discourage you, maybe you have that instinct, maybe you don’t. I have unmedicated ADHD and for some reason product is the one thing I can really focus on and do well. It may also lie in your passion for your product and your user. I don’t think i’d be able to focus if I was working on internal product or healthcare

Agree. Once I find something to be passionate about, I am obsessed.
