I have two final round interviews for two large regional firms over the next two weeks.

What do I do if the first one gives me an offer before I have a chance to do the final round interview with the other?

This is hypothetical - I might not get an offer from the first or from either. But, if I get an offer from the first, is it rude to ask for a week to consider? Will I burn bridges with the second firm if I cancel (for example, I want to try to keep that door open for the future)?

I have in the past said I need time to consider. If they recant the offer, likely a spot you do not want to work for anyways.

You’re really putting the cart before the horse here! My last offer was open for two weeks. Your question may be a non-issue. Good luck!

Thank you! I assume I am, but I tend to get overly nervous about offending people in situations like this. I ended up accepting my current job offer the next day and emailed another firm I interviewed with that I accepted my current firm’s offer. At that time, I wasn’t too interested in the other firm so I wasn’t as worried about accepting my firm’s offer right away.

Never dangle a mouth for a minute. You put off that first they'll find the other and tell on you. People are starving for jobs like me. If you get an offer take it with undying reverence and thank the Lord thy God. Never look a gift horse in the mouth ok and always be grateful for where the Lord has put, placed and seated you if it's a gift horse opportunity like two opportunities for one job. Be ever always thankful and grateful ok. Good luck and be well ok.

How can they put something like this?
