I have recently joined EY SaT group as senior consultant recently in Netherlands. I’m tripple masters in MS economics, MBA and MS business analytics. Have 4 YOE in different industries but no M&A experience specifically. Any ideas what company should be offering me? I’ll be working as expert on commercial due diligence, FDD and valuation teams and doing automation alongside. is it wise to demand higher salary or promotion soon after I have proven that I can work and do it better than most?EY

I was bored in public and found it repetitive. Now I'm bored in industry and find it repetitive, minus the bs of charge hours and busy season. I can't say I love public or industry, but at least I have work-life balance with my boredom
This is basically my worst fear of going to industry. Haven’t done it, so can’t speak to boomerang experience, but I work at BDO right now and love it.
Cont: My days are filled with their dull repetitive tasks, complex accounting accrual issues, and trying to figure out breaks on reconciliations. I don’t train people, mentor anyone, meet with clients and ultimately traded a single long busy season for shorter monthly busy seasons as part of the cycle. Any jump back to public or feel similar?
