I hope you can still review the company policy about employees discounts. As far as I know, there is no rule for saying you purchase with discounts and then resell to someone else. But if this is the case, then they terminate you for violating company policy. Howver, you should get a warning first before being fired. Also, I assume you applied for unemployment. This is a platform you have opportunity to fight for benefit. Then you may use this info. to law suit the company, if appropriaate.

My LinkedIn feed was absolutely filled with layoffs today. What happened? A month or two ago it was a candidate’s market and the offers were great but now everything has shifted. I was informed that I am not getting a promotion that I was gunning for, and when I pushed back about being fairly compensated for my work the response about it not being a good time to ask was really ominous. Hi everyone, I'm new to Canada and want to start my career here in the Financial and Banking industry. I have passed the CFA level 2 exam and was wondering if I have to complete the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) as most of the job postings here mention about it. I saw that if someone passes at least the CFA level 1 exam then the requirement of CSC is exempted. Can anyone enlighten me about this? As the CSC exam costs above 1000 CAD, I wanted to be sure if I need it before investing behind it.
