I joined Cognizant in November 2025 and got assigned to a billable project, on the very same day, which is new project to cognizant with a commitment of 5 years. But now, after almost completing onboarding (and it’s been almost 2 months since I joined), they are saying there will be client interviews. Why are they conducting client interviews now, after so much time has already passed?

Don’t worry it just a routine thing .
Have you participated in user stories till now?
If yes then it won’t be applicable for you.
Hey i also got this client,
Can u give me some input how's the work culture and how did the client interview went ?
7 months as a Cognizant Trainee. Zero commercial experience.
I didn't wait. I built "Hunger Relief" solo—a Spring Boot & Angular app with JWT auth—to prepare for a promised Java backend project mapping.
The mapping never happened.
I have the skills and the code to prove it, but I'm still sitting on the bench. I’m done simulating work. I want to build for real.
