When do people expect to return to office?
Hi all,
I recently joined a Big4 org. For more than a month now, I am only attending project calls where mostly, I am a silent listener as I am one who jumped in between ongoing work.
Consequently, I am filling the bench code in timesheets.
Is it normal?
Or
Do I need to take steps on my own so that someone add me to the project.
Can anyone suggest?
Thanks!

Received a job offer from both Amazon and Microsoft in US as account manager for their advertising business. Very similar compensation. Amazon ads seem more interesting and exciting and growing aggressively, whereas for Microsoft will be working mainly with Bing ads. However, Microsoft seems to have better work life balance and culture. Any insights on anyone working in these roles?
Why tcs delaying the onboarding process?
Hi fishes, I gave my 1st round of technical interview with Hexaware yesterday and answered 80-90% of their questions and the interviewer also gave good feedback for the interview. But after that I haven't received any call back from the HR. So when can I expect a call back or no call back means my profile got rejected? Please advise. TIA

Anyone do sales and use tax at Deloitte?
Gawd I fricking hate tax sometimes.
Please search “Coherence”. It might help you as a manager.
Hmm can you elaborate?
Every level should feel like this after a year or two - start to take on more tasks that show you are ready for SM if you’re fine with the day to day of manager life.
I know how you feel, I love my higher level tasks ( merger planning, spearheading forensic and consulting engagements) but dread the work that I loved only a few years before. All in all, probably a good sign !
Haha. What kind of work did you love before?
Hahahaha, I know it's a strange thing to say in the Accounting world ! More specifically, I used to love problem solving, getting into the financials and uncovering why the Schedule L wasn't balancing, for example, or working with coworkers on determining whether a transition/lease should be capitalized or expensed etc. I also, at one time, loved working with and bringing new employees along. I still enjoy doing that but not nearly as much now as I once enjoyed it - in ten years I may hate it ... hahahaha.
Lol and you like what you are doing now! Which is good
