I left my cushy old ad agency (due contract ending in two months) and my friend persuaded me to join his small ad agency which i am not keen at first because i am transitioning to UX. got overwhelmed with the amount of work. (From 2 clients now i am handling 6 clients plus website, reporting etc) I had the similar long hours ad agency culture (work till wee hours , long meetings) not looking back to it again. Its only been a month. Should i quit right away and wipe the role off cv?

Can someone explain how billable hours work? At a new agency and although I had to fill timesheets at my previous agencies, they were mainly used to ensure we weren’t over servicing a client/for setting the appropriate retainer for contract renewals. I asked ppl at my agency but haven’t gotten a proper explanation. I get the impression that billing to the agency admin code isn’t recommended, and my manager said he bills everything to client codes, but that doesn’t make sense to me .
