Hi all,
Do firms match offers from other Big 4s for campus hires? I’ve received a campus offer from both KPMG and EY. I’m more interested in the EY offer, but they are paying 3k less than KPMG.
Would it be a bad move to let them know about the other offer and try negotiating? I feel it wont make a difference in the long run, but at the same time I don’t want to leave any money on the table if possible.
Thanks!

Hi all,
I’m looking to relocate to Seattle. Does anyone know if any of the Big 4 are still recruiting campus hires to start in Summer/Fall 2023? I’m open to either Audit or Tax, but I have internship experience in Tax.
I applied and received an offer at a Big 4 in San Francisco (campus hire), but I’ve decided Seattle is the better fit for me as it will be closer to my hometown and family in Vancouver.
Thanks!

Focus on other reasons for leaving in an interview (career development, opportunities, etc.). I'm only honest about toxic workplaces or burnout when discussing options with a recruiter so they know my priorities in a new opportunity.

Thanks, I think the career development route is one I can lean into. I’ll make sure not to bother mentioning burnout
I tell the external recruiters this, but when interviewing with the company, I focus on other items, like working with a different tax type, expanding skills, closer location to my home, etc…

That’s the route I’m going to have to go down I feel
Just say the role didn’t align with your expectations and goals. eg u were promised a management role but ended up doing more staff level work due to turnover/attrition and did not see any career growth potential from that role..

Thanks, I’ll definitely need to do something like that
Yes, don't mention burnout in an interview. Instead, focus on new skills you've learned and want to pursue in other opportunities using those skills, Or maybe state that you're looking for a more challenging role in a specialized area such as FinTech, or taxes or investments, etc.
I always just mention that I’m looking for a new challenge and experience in another industry.
