I moved out of being client facing for 10 years awhile ago and am in more of a support type of role. I find that I have 5-10 meetings a day and am being pulled in 50 different directions, which in turn leads to me being exhausted in and outside of work. Is this something a person adjusts to or does it seem like it’s maybe not a good fit for me? Any advice on how to best juggle it all?

I always bill 100% of my time and for my entire career in public accounting I have never heard anything negative until recently.. I was told to watch my time as the client doesn’t like to pay these fees, and the partner is unhappy because it looks like I have high hours. Is the message that I should eat my time?
