Hi Fishes, I've accepted offer from Accenture from their portal.. But now got new offer from EY and wants to join at EY. So how can I tell Accenture Accenture India that I'm not going to join them. Rather than not showing up on the date of joining? Can you please guide me? How do I let them know? My talent coach is not reachable

How about the retention pay? If we leave the company we need to pay entire retention pay?I have other wipro and CTS, which company is better to join?
Hi Guys,
I have joined Ofss 1 week back and on second day itself I was allocated to project and onboarding WIP I received mail stating to report back to office 3 days per week under hybrid work model policy. Is this compulsory my base location is 2600 km from my current location as I am joining the citi project its seems difficult for me to grasp things though I have only 1 yr of prior exp by I think my team is expecting a lot so moving to new city and learning at same time is not possible .

For all that is holy, stay in a technical role, C suite is not an achievement, but an act of atonement for a life of sin.
I appreciate the words of wisdom
CRISC is an easy one to get if you have been in the GRC space for any time.
Do both. Do you have CISSP?
Yes I have a CISSP.

Which industry is letting go GRC pros?
My inbox is full of opportunities - I'm in privacy, 100% remote, and 169k-200k compensation.
CRISC is probably one of the certifications to have in your arsenal.

Just start. Get your EIN, LLC, business checking, and professional insurance
Network by word of mouth in your network, if potential clients are not in your DMs.
Haven't had a chance to set up my website, but use my company email.
Just start, and the opportunities will come.
Two different certs for career paths. I would say crisc because an SAA without aws experience and background makes you entry level at best.
Great point. I have over 7 YoE (from engineering to vuln to audit) and don't want to do entry level. I'd just like to have a fallback option.
I’m a bit bias, but I’d go for AWS SAA for 10-15 times the opportunities. I prefer architecture. My security background just makes me better at it. I do GRC on a daily basis but it’s not my job title. I also agree, non technical are the first to go, scrum masters, technical writers, program managers. Our cybersecurity was hit pretty hard too. Developers/architects were not, but many were reassigned.
That’s exactly how you become an architect. Knowledge of everything, expert of none/few of them. Very few people can connect all the dots between design, coding, strategy, networking and security for example. Suddenly you are the expert of designing complex systems.
Curious, why get CRISC when you’re already a CISSP?
I wouldn’t say it’s more specialized…. Just a different subject area. In my experience the CRISC is actually less technical and specific in content
SAA has my vote
I have the AWS cloud practitioner and CCSK. I also work in DevSecOps so I hope I have a baseline idea. Despite all I've done, I just can't point to one area I'm good at. I'm best as a generalist.
