You should let your former employer worry about what happens after you leave, work as you typically would up until you give notice, and once you do as a professional courtesy follow your manager's lead on what to do to transfer your workload.
As for bonuses, it's been my experience that you have to be employed on the day that the bonus is paid, so find out when your next bonus is to be paid before you give notice. If it's to be paid on 10/31 (a month after quarter close, so plausible) and a decent amount of money, you may want to wait until 10/31 to give notice. Don't give notice 2 weeks prior because there is no guarantee that they will keep you on payroll for the two weeks, especially if you have a big bonus coming. Managers can be all kinds of respectable, yet companies still do unscrupulous things in the name of budget.
Appreciate the advice! Will reach out to few people to understand when bonuses are being distributed!
