Which one to choose between Optum and Tiger Analytics for Data Scientist position? Where can I expect better data science domain expertise (In my previous companies I found very less understanding of Data Science practices as team)? Heared good things about both of these. Also hearing Tiger is expanding rapidly and getting some crap projects as well in the name of data science. Could someone put light on these things?

How to complete TQ in Accenture
Hi Fishes, I grabbed an offer at Accenture with 12 LPA fixed for Level 9. I'm not getting a retention offer from my current company at 13.5 lpa. How do I go about a counter offer with Accenture HR? Also tell me how to approach this situation smoothly.
If HR doesn't fulfill the counter offer, is it ok to accept 12 lpa fixed for Level 9 and when will I get a hike here and how much would it be approximately?
Accenture Please provide your insights. This is my first switch so I ne more exposure

Um I think I would take the $42 an hour and be thankful that they want to hire you.
I agree this.. Procicising
Job requere
Man, What I wouldn't give to have started my career with 42 an hour. 😅 Take the job...
Chief
I feel the same way. I started my career at $22
42 an hour isn't something to scoff at. I know people in the force for 10 years not getting that. I wouldn't be greedy just getting out of college. Take the job, and negotiate later when you have proven yourself with your performance.
I’m a central supply tech lead I make $32 a hour. You can try to negotiate, but you have to prepare to decline the position. As a new grad it’s hard for you to ask for more because you don’t have the experience to back it up.

This is true

As a new grad thats a great number. I would be very happy with that.
Don’t be greedy. You are new. $42 is a good new grad salary to enter the industry. Put in your time and get the experience. You’ll likely have chances at overtime too. At that time you’ll then have some standing to negotiate. I started at $32/hr in 2012 and now earn about $100/hr (I’m not dialysis, I’m bedside).
I was asking because other new grads in my school are getting paid $16 differential but they are working in hospitals. Thanks for your insights. They helped.
Trust me, that 42 is good. Is that a blended rate or just an hourly? They pay time and a half after 8 hrs. So do the math if it's just an hourly. For a new grad , I will take it without a blink.
What job is this?! I have never made above 20 dollars in my entire working career!! I’d be happy with even 22 dollars! If I was offered 42 dollars an hour I’d have a stroke and then proceed to take the job 😂
What job did you apply for??
It’s probably not a ‘good look’ to go back after
you already agreed on a particular number.
Moving forward, this is something you can
learn from. Always negotiate salary, and never throw out a number first. Also, do research on what’s being offered in that area to go into the negotiation with your own numbers, based on cost of living, etc. Hope that helps. #cheersOnTheNewPosition
Where are you located? I have 10 years experience and only got $40 to start back in December!
Take that offer and get your experience. Forty-two an hour is a whole lot more than I was offered at my first job 25 years ago.
