Take it. “I will likely make partner in 10 years”. Absolutely do not wait around for that you can always boomerang.

Please take the offer and don't look back. Nothing 10 years out is gaurenteed. Feel free to send this as your goodbye email.
Hi All,
As many of you probably know, today is my last day in KPMG. But before I leave, I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know what a great and distinct pleasure it has been to type “Today is my last day. “For nearly as long as I’ve worked here, I’ve hoped that I might one day leave this company. And now that this dream has become a reality, please know that I could not have reached this goal without your unending lack of support. Words cannot express my gratitude for the words of gratitude you did not express.
I would especially like to thank all of my managers and team members: in an age where miscommunication is all too common, you consistently impressed and inspired me with the sheer magnitude of your misinformation. It takes a strong man to admit his mistake - it takes a stronger man to attribute his mistake to me.
Over the past four years, you have taught me more than I could ever ask for and, in most cases, ever did ask for. I have been fortunate enough to work with some absolutely interchangeable supervisors on a wide variety of seemingly identical projects - an invaluable lesson in overcoming daily tedium in overcoming daily tedium in overcoming daily tedium.
Your demands were high and your patience short, but I take great solace knowing that my work was, as stated on my annual review, “mostly satisfactory.” That is the type of praise that sends a man home happy after even a 10 hour day, smiling his way through half a bottle of mostly satisfactory scotch.
And to most of my peers: even though we barely acknowledged each other within these office walls, I hope that in the future, should we pass on the street, you will regard me the same way as I regard you: sans eye contact.
So, in parting, if I could pass on any word of advice to the individual who will soon be filling my position, it would be to cherish this experience like a sponge and soak it up like a good woman, because a job opportunity like this comes along only once in a lifetime.
Meaning: if I had to work here again in this lifetime, I would sooner kill myself.
Thanks
I came here searching for preparation tips for KPMG interview but after reading this I am rethinking my decision.. Lol

If you want more money and more seniority take the job immediately, and no reason to discuss with anyone. If you love your current job, and money and seniority is not that important to you, stay where you are. Fairly simple.
Take the offer

Your Partner can be accused of sexual harassment or some other
misconduct in the next year, and boom! - you are left without your mentor and supporter. Your "path to the partnership" suddenly looks a lot different.
Take the $$$ and stop kidding yourself that there is such a thing as "job security" anywhere in this system.

Lol. Will likely make partner in 10 years huh? That’s a fun statement. If we polled everyone at your level and asked them how likely it is they’d make partner I bet about half would think this. Yet, very few people make partner. It’s a long and hard road that you are minimizing and don’t even fully understand yet. Anyway, just to offer a different perspective than other. If making partner is important to you, you may reduce your chances by going somewhere else depending how long you leave. Sure you can boomerang, but it’s hard to boomerang and still make partner if the gasp is too long. Making partner is largely about relationships and if you come back five years from now that’s five years of relationship opportunity cost.

How are you being offered a “senior leadership” position at new firm if you’re still 10 years away from partner? Something isn’t lining up.
Yeah...KPMG’s promotion process is all jacked up. That’s what doesn’t line up lol

Time Value of Money!
10 years? Brah, are you like fresh out of undergrad?
Show off. I’m jealous though - good luck OP!
Take it! An opportunity like this doesn’t come often.
Weird flex and humble brag
Take it. You can always boomerang back.
What’s your hesitation? If you are asking this question even with such a salary increasing then something might be bothering you about the new job.
Take the offer. I wouldn’t stay based on the notion that you have the potential to make partner. Friend of mine who used to work at Pwc told me the senior manager he was working with was also hoping for the partner track and it didn’t happen. He worked his ass off for that promo and is now lost as to what to do.
How large are we talking??

10 years! Take the offer. Plus it’s boutique all the way now.
Take the money and run!
Lol. If you’re saying you’re going to make partner at KPMG in 10 years you probably won’t make it in 20 years. Take the offer. Nothing is certain at KPMG. It’s for stability and to hide in your career. Not for promised career growth.
