I tried an AI meditation app, and it kept telling me to 'breathe like a tranquil cloud.' I'm not sure clouds breathe, but I've never been more relaxed! Does anyone else use AI for wellness? What's been your experience?

I didn't apply for a job that would have set me up for the future in the government. I wouldn't have to worry about money or future jobs. My boss had just given me a small pay rise and talked up the future and so I felt good. I now severely regret not applying for the job and cannot stop thinking about it to the point of insomnia and depression. I even contacted the employer but too late. It's a small town and rarely anything comes up. I hate myself and feel like I failed my family. :(

Had my 1:1 with my People Lead yesterday to prepare for talent discussions. Said I had a great year - but need to work on being consistent. She said when I’m engaged it’s great but need to keep it going. I’ve mentioned my ADHD previously but I’m sure she doesn’t know all the components of what that means. We’ve had org issues - no clear role descriptions or expectations. Yes I do have a hard time staying engaged (and I’m medicated - Vyvance in the am, dextroamphetamine at noon). Thoughts?

a few weeks ago we had a super busy day with scripts and i think i went into ‘autopilot’ because i don’t remember it happening, but i handed out the wrong prescription to someone (before you get mad, i only started a few weeks ago and i’m a junior assistant), out of all people i could’ve given the wrong medication to, it was a blind person. i have severe anxiety already and want to know some tactics to go back to work without guilt? i take guilt very heavy and struggle to get past it all

Well I recently told a guy I have been seeing I have HSV-2. We have not yet been physical but it’s been heading that direction. Man I hate this part - waiting to see what his response will be after he researches and talks to his doctor. I’m on daily meds which help reduce transmission risk. You’d think that since HSV-2 affects 20% of Americans and likely a higher % of gay men, there would be less taboo but it’s hardly ever talked about. Anyone else in my shoes? Question: How do you get your heart rate down?
Perspective: I am 24 and run 25 miles a week. My average heart rate is usually 175 but gets up to 200 (worrisome). My heart rate recovery is 55-75 after three minutes. I just don’t understand why my heart rate gets so high if I’m healthy. Am I breathing wrong?
