Hey Everyone, I have an interview coming up for a venture architect role, would anyone be willing to share some insight into the interview process? Any information would be incredibly helpful.
Excited and nervous... I just accepted a role to be the first HR in a small multi state company. Any suggestions and advice from someone who has done this before?

Have opportunity for a cool government job doing strategy and innovation for them. Is it easy to re-enter the market after spending some years in a government role? Would people value the work equally
Director: "I want you to play the director role for today. Should be fun. What do you think?" Me: "sure" 🤓🔫
Hello Fishes, There are openings in Wipro for Salesforce practice. If anyone intrested please DM me.

Thinking about quitting for an industry role. How much of a payrise should I ask for at the start of the negotiation with new employer? How large is negotiation figure vs. actual rise I am aiming for?
Was hired into a company at a level that was more junior than my skills (Was out of work due to pandemic for a year). I’ve been at the company 5 months. We’re going through a reorg and my new position will really be leveraging my years of experience more so than other role. Is it appropriate to discuss a raise/adding senior to title? Or should I do the job and then prove myself then talk about raise. I have more experience than the senior members of my team.
Openings in Capgemini for the following 4-12 years : React.Js Full stack(Angular/React/Spring boot/restapi) 4-9 years: Backbase Mendix UX Designer DM for referrals
Trying to exit into FAANG but know it may be a long shot involving a handful of rejections. Meanwhile got approached by a number of recruiters for a) smaller emerging startup <but need to shift geo>, and b) major banks for in-house strategy. I’ll proceed with interviews with a) since it will give me a flavour of tech recruiting, but should I even go through with interview process for b)? Thoughts? Fyi, have not interviewed in 4+ years!
what do you think is the most difficult type of role for an analyst to grasp without experience?
Any advice for someone looking to transition into a full HR Generalist role from Recruiting. I’m currently a Campus Recruiter with about 5 years of HR experience (Coordinator- Higher Ed). I received my PHR certification in September 2020 and sitting for my SHRM-CP in two weeks. I’m having a hard time transitioning into a full Generalist position.

I'm a Project Manager at the Senior Consultant level with about 3 yrs of experience in tech consulting (overall 8+ years of experience incl. other industries) and looking to make a move to NYC for a similar role (with potential to move to Director role shortly after). What would be a range of pay I should ask/aim for?
Mega fund VP level role with all cash comp (obviously) OR equal comp at pre ipo 100B tech firm, but with still private and desired stock. Mega fund work is more interesting and clear path to D/MD hence comp growth, which I don’t really see at the tech firm. Any thoughts ? I gravitate towards the fund
Mom, I'm getting someone from another country to live with me and help out taking care of my child for a few months. What kind of insurance should I get for that person?
Interview tomorrow. Gotta convince these industry folks that I really want to make a career out of this and am not planning a slow escape from corporate life 😃😇🤓😱🤔😣
Consultant vs specialist track - I’m considering jumping to the specialist track since I enjoy the technical work much more. However, it seems like it’s perceived as a step back. But what are the tangible differences? Lower pay and benefits? I’ve asked my cc but she doesn’t seem to have much to offer. Also, is the culture different? ….I really dislike working with hyper competitive people, most in consulting are great to work with, but there seems to be a solid 30% that are bad humans
I’ve always gotten the advice that when you want to switch jobs you should take interviews from places you’re not actually interested in, so you can understand your value in the market and have better negotiating power. I’m doing that rn - took a couple interviews to gauge my skills, my market value, and see what I need to work on for interviews that I actually care about. However, I feel really guilty about wasting their time and going all the way knowing I’ll just say no at the end. Wwyd?
Moved from US to Canada recently. Finding work culture in Can way different. Giving direct and straight feedback is almost a sin. I feel the real and rigor to walk an extra mile for the client is almost missing. Not sure if it's just time or if this is Canada way. Any quick tips?
Need a sanity check. Had my mid-year. No negatives. It was 360 so I told my boss some things that were making me uncomfortable, e.g., changes in processes/micromanagement when compared to the previous, male directors and the fact that others noticed and had remarked about the differences. It was pretty tense. 1:1 today and boss brings it up. He acknowledges it’s different and says it’s bc I’m more experienced. I’m a great writer, knowledgeable, established in my industry, etc. WTF? Cont’d
Not a points question, but what are some top resorts in the South? Need to find someplace to get away with the Mrs (sans kids) for a few nights when this all blows over.
What industry opportunities are available for a healthcare consultant with policy expertise and some experience in HIT? I have 5.5 YOE in consulting, 2 health related masters MPH Epidemiology and MSW Social Policy from an Ivy League. I’m don’t mind the WLB in consulting but I’m just tired of the environment and want to do something meaningful that pays well.
Hello fishes, How is the WLB, yearly hike, promotions in NTT data, HR told me that they dont give any bonus. How is the growth for SAP?

Hi, I'm looking to connect with a Product Designer who can help mock up some rough concepts into wire frames for a side project I'm exploring. Ideal profile is someone who is familiar with social apps and ideally into politics. This is an especially great fit for a young designer looking to build their portfolio. I will be paying $$ for their time. Plz DM if interested or have leads.
