Hi everyone!!! Last year I put together a list of classrooms to exchange valentines with! We mailed 1 valentine to each class and included a picture if we could, and a few things about where we live and things we do!
I currently have 13 classes signed up! The more the merrier!!
We have classes CA, WI, PA, KS, TX, RI, MI, Canada, New Zealand.
I have a form to fill out if you are interested! I will email everyone the list probably at the end of the week if not sooner!

I try to make posters that reflect classroom rules/expectations (things I would otherwise have to repeat a million times). How to store brushes, appropriate voice levels, how to use the sink, paper towel distribution, etc. I also buy big posters of artworks both Contemporary and Classical to fill large spaces. The kids love seeing artworks they can relate to! Amazon has large posters for fair prices.
I need to post the "elements and principles" and initially made one for each, adding creative examples. After they got shopworn, I was able to purchase a simple enough set for elementary, and added small artwork examples to illustrate each. I have always been lucky to have a budget that allows me to buy art prints of works for lesson exempars.
I like to use student examples.
