Is it bad manners or just a bad idea to go back to a recruiter if they got you a job that wound up being a bad fit?
For context, I don’t think they misled me. The job changed 3 weeks after I got hired, and got stuck in a role that’s just not a good fit. Gave it 6 months of honest effort and I’m ready to start job hunting.
I saw this recruiter make a post on LinkedIn, and I liked working with them the first time, and I want to reach out. But I don’t know what they’ll think.

I’m trying to break my lease. I have notified the management company of my intent to do so in writing. They are just refusing to respond and keep ignoring my follow-up emails. Do I have any recourse? Can they physically bar me from leaving?

PS: I have legal cause for being able to break the lease and I know that there is zero legal recourse they have.

I am a registered sales assistant which means I have my series 7. I also have the 63 and my Life & Health license. I was a financial advisor but the role is commission only so I decided to take a role as an assistant for some time to learn etc. I really like my role, but I only make 32k a year and after taxes I only take home about 25k. I have a gut feeling that I’m not being paid market value but it’s tough to find comparable salaries. Do you think $15.38/hr is a fair wage in this case?

Started a new job 7 months ago. There’s been a hiring freeze and it seems they canned the recruitment team. Things seems to be slowing down drastically in the span of a week. Should I leave my company? Been here 1.5 years and was told I was getting a management promotion 5-6 months ago.Still no solid traction and they are opening up a req for it 😑no one on the current sales team has ever been promoted (2 years)except our boss who has been promoted 3 times. We hit quote every month/q/year by a lot. I have several offers at double my OTE. Already asked what the timeline is for a new manager and I was told soon and I'm "up for consideration." My company covers in depth results each week, including meetings set/attended, wins, revenue, retention etc. I feel as if evaluating in such depth is detrimental to the psyche, as you never get to “ride the high.” In addition, some weeks are simply slower than others, and it’s not always representative of what the results at the end of the period or quarter will be. Is this not a big deal, and I’m I placing too much importance on it? Or is it beneficial to review results less frequently?

Wondering what people think about my situation. I’ve been offered a role with a company. The job description didn’t mention college degree as a requirement. On my CV I have a section listed as “Education” and under it I have “Business Studies” with the university name and the 3 years that I attended the course (2.5 to be exact). 13 yr outside Sales Experience in the B2B space, multiple roles/companies. Current quota is $15MCAD, I usually do not bad in quota but lately has shifted to rewarding medicorciy and "pooling" some numbers countrywide which i really dont like.
Current comp is $85k Base and $115 OTE with a ceiling of $150k CAD/$120k US. Feel it's too little for my experience and they are taking perks away by the day.
