I mean this wholeheartedly. Read the book "Unreasonable Hospitality". You won't need to ask others for advice after this you'll be the prime example of it.

Well, it can be tricky because the store may not have a budget to keep on the seasonal help. However, you can do things like make sure you’re always on time. Make sure that the manager never sees you leaning or slacking off. Make sure like you’re always stocking or cleaning. If you can take any extra shifts that the manager offers. Just make yourself look the best worker in the store.
I would also mention to your manager that you want to stay on. That is a good way to put it on his/her radar. And then continue to go above and beyond in your role.
I agree with the first comment. Be extremely reliable, don't complain, be a good teammate and coworker. And definitely voice your interest in staying on
