However, the interview was canceled twice due to the partner’s unavailability. Strangely, I received an email today stating that, after careful consideration, they have decided not to proceed. I wonder what might have changed so suddenly—does anyone at AlixPartners know if the role has been canceled?

So I have been seeing a guy for 4 months. We have a pay disparity.. he earns less than I do (by quite a bit).
