I was invited to an "Introduction Call" by a BCG recruiter. I had sent a cold email to a manager director with my CV asking for a call and apparently he shared this with her. This is all she told me.
Is anyone familiar with these Introduction Calls? Are they evaluative? Is it just a courtesy to the Senior Partner which generally won't lead to an interview? Any help appreciated.

Reading the HBS thread has me worried for applying next year. It seems like for an Asian male even a 3.8+ and 750+ with MBB/BB IB/PE experience doesn’t even get an interview? Is the bar even higher than last year?

I have 7+ years of experience in java technology stack.
I am currently holding offers from the companies like TCS,Deloitte, Xoriant and ibm.
Maximum offer i have is of 23 LPA.

Wondering what people think about my situation. I’ve been offered a role with a company. The job description didn’t mention college degree as a requirement. On my CV I have a section listed as “Education” and under it I have “Business Studies” with the university name and the 3 years that I attended the course (2.5 to be exact). It’s a 4 year degree and under this I have my High School equivalent with the years I attended there. The education wasn’t mentioned in the interviews. Continued below.

I’ve been prepping for MBB for months but I know I’m still not ready. I’m struggling with staying structured and with creative questions.
