I was laid off from my last job and just started a new one, but I’m already going through anxiety worrying that every meeting that pops up w my manager is going to result in getting laid off again. 😐

can you get proactive about asking for active feedback? ask for regular check-ins to specifically discuss your performance so you have the opportunity to hear directly from them. that should help in that if there are any issues (either performance or wider agency issues that might precipitate a layoff) you'll have potentially had an opportunity to discuss them. and on tbe positive, it'll be an opportunity for them to tell you how excellent you are.

Take a step back and be objective. You could be catastrophizing which comes from anxiety. Try to get the negative thought loop out of you head.
