I have the habit of setting up small goals throughout the day. It helps me stay focused and to have that little dopamine hit a few times a day.
Do your best to balance the backlog with the work of the day, too. I find myself always leaning towards one or the other. Blocking time for each helps keep me focused.
I hope you're feeling better! I usually just let the team know that I have a lot of catching up to do and to slack me or email me if they need anything. That way they know I'm not being antisocial, just staying focused and not overwhelming myself even more on the first few days back.
