I was recently laid off from a small PE Advisory & Co-Investment shop and was offered a role as a Senior Financial Analyst (Corporate Finance) at a mid-size tech company. The compensation is actually an increase from my previous role and I think I would find the work more interesting, but I feel the progression of corporate finance can be slower. I would love to get any feedback on whether I’d be able to progress to strategic finance roles / corporate development in the future.

Hi Folks, I am working in infy and planning to drop paper this week. As I don't have offer in hand but 90 days NP impacting to get new job. Also my compansation is not good as per exp. Currently at BNY Mellon with 10 YOE, specifically in Corporate Trust working CLO/CDO’s (first job out of college). I’ve moved around within the bank a few times but I’m just not happy here nor am I where I want to be in terms of comp . I want to pivot into something else but I have no clue what skills I could transfer elsewhere as what we do is so niche. My experience is split between FP&A and accounting and while I have progressed, I am becoming depressed b/c I feel like I’m in the wrong field.
