Guys, I interviewed at amex gurgaon 10days ago and was told by VP that I will hear from HR very soon. But when I checked on HR yesterday, she said interviews are still in progress and it will take a week more to finalize.
I want to know do they take this long to close a position? This opening was posted on 30th Sep.. It's already been 1.5 months. This is when they said the position was urgent!! 🙄

Currently interviewing at JPMorgan in their CIB division for a associate operations role. Have met with 5 people for two different teams and another person for another team, all of which I believe are 3 total open positions for 3 different teams. Question for yall. How likely is an offer once a company decides to do a reference check? I know I am in the final 2, from context clues in interviews. I just dont want to get my hopes up.

I saw some sales managers discussing hiring strategies, especially for entry level roles (e.g. SDR, BDR).

One strategy that came up was having the applicant do 90 minutes of cold calling into real prospects with the hiring manager coaching.

What do you think of this approach? Would be curious to hear from both hiring manager perspectives and from candidate perspectives.

Do you actually take the time to reject people after initial interviews? Or do you wait for the candidate to reach back out to you? I’ve noticed a lot of agencies don’t seem to follow up

I’ve applied to 3 program manager roles with google and even though I feel I’m over qualified, I’m not getting any interviews or even a screening call from a recruiter. I got NTD for 2/3 already.

Actually, I gave Interview for BackEnd Developer @ Itilite. I was selected in the interview process (2 Tech DSA Based + HR) and got a mail stating that our interview panel is really impressed with your domain related expertise in order to proceed with offer negotiation please submit your documents. Now after 2-3 days of document submission, they came up by saying they cant move forward with my candidature.

I am still amazed how can they do this after asking my documents.
