My LM is so keen on small small things, not related to coding but documentation and all. Atleast once in a week I'm committing mistakes on small documentation points n he is stressing on same. Are there any chances that my probation will not be extended or is it a clue for me from my LM. He is Looping his LM and asking questions/clarifications.
Should I ask him directly or can be ignored or need to try outside. Please suggest Barclays

You almost certainly work in an at-will employment state. Which means they can fire you for pretty much any reason.
Internally is one thing, but most companies are unwilling to do anything but confirm that you worked their, and dates of employment.
But why would you want to go back to a company that cares so little about your well being, that they fired you for being sick? There are many better companies out there, and with Walmart experience, your resume/application should get their attention.
Yes I wouldthink twice to work for a ocmpany who cares so little about family obligations. We have all been there. Walmart touts themselves as being family oriented. THAT IS FAR FROM THE TRUTH.
Im truly sorry to hear about your situation.i was in the same situation and i was there 5 years and due to my points, they would not even let me finish my shift ,and pulled me into the office like a child and 2-3 people in the room to intimidate me,fired me and then when i went to try to get my job back, she said we will call you and i waited for a week and no call,i never walked back into that store location and no other walmart will i shop at.
I worked at Walmart as an overnight stocker. Now I will admit i was a temporary employee thru a temp agency but the time I was there I had excellent attendance I did my job to the best of my abilities. When the assignment ended I filled out an application for a full-time position. After about 3 months they called me and scheduled an interview. At the interview they told me that because I didn't move fast enough for them they wouldn't hire me. Seems to me if that was the case why did they scheduled the interview in the first place.
I do not know Walmart specifically, but most companies, when they terminate for T&A will not rehire you; often this is marked in an HR file for any future applications. While I hate to sound pro-employer, at the time, you should have been proactive to either not be put on the schedule or to take a LOA/FMLA (depending on your status). Essentially, regardless of the why (valid or not), employers see this as an inability to manage yourself and thus, they do not want to hire you back.
I say this as someone who has had to get themselves off a schedule due to emergency surgery and recoup as well as take PTO to cover a different surgery, and as a manager who has helped associates with this process.
This is very true. I was a manager as well, and alot of times people dont get termed because of the actual attendance, but for the lack of communication and following the necessary steps to secure their jobs. I worked for a Walmart Warehouse that handles online orders as an employee, and yes they do have a point system. But after about 3yrs, I left in good standing. I had to take some extended time off for an illness, but didnt get termed. They were not bad to work for. Got frequent raises and they treated the employees preyty good for a big corporation.
They aren’t legally obligated to rehire you and there is nothing legally preventing them from talking to your prior store about your prior employment history within the same company before making a decision. I’d be more surprised if they didn’t talk to the other store first.

That’s tough. Walmart can choose not to rehire, even if you were a top employee. Legally, they can confirm dates of employment, positions held, and sometimes eligibility for rehire, but they don’t have to share negative details. You can ask HR directly if you’re eligible for rehire and request clarification on their policy.
Wow, I am sorry to hear that. What do you mean by points? I would waste time on them, apply in other places where you will feel more valued, you deserve that.
Hire yourself a lawyer. You have rights. They wrongfully terminated you. Some lawyers are free. Some don't charge unless you win.
Right now my market is not letting our hr rehire retires for some reason.
Same story ,i worked as a asset protection associate under Walmart, Duncan around one year. I controlled all shoplifters and make a big amount profit. Last march i moved to Victoria and start my job with hillside Walmart, my second shift i caught a big shoplifter and they ran out. After that i took that cart and a very big bag to the customer service for collecting training receipt, then the customer service service man told me you are not allowed in customer service, i told him i am a asset protection associate, then he shouted me, me also argue with him. Then he went inside and complaint against me to the manager Ben, he came and called me to outside and he angry to me, so i return my I'd card and leave from there. Most of the Walmart managers have racism. That i feel at Duncan Walmart and Hill side Walmart Victoria
I had a good experrience working for Walmart. I had good reviews and did what I was told. It reflected on my raises. I started to get sick and they offered me fmla . They seens it was going to be a lifelong illness and they helped me get through it with dignity. Not sure why you would want to go back of you think they treated ou unfair.
Wow happen to me. I let hr know and asked not be scheduled and called in everyday still nothing. I was asked to stay after remodel. I know everyone and got along with them. The manager himself ask me to stay. I went to my old walmart where everyone knows me and are asking for me personally, because of how I work. HR said she would have to talk to the overnight manager, which was the one who told me where and who to talk too. Nothing not a word..
That has happened to a lot of people in many different companies. Including me. Best way to handle this is to just move on apply and work some where else. You will find another great employer.
You have to wait 6 months before you can be rehired. Then do the application process over again..
I happen to know personally that Walmart will rehire anyone. I've never known anyone who has tried to get rehired and was denied. Unless you get flagged as not rehirable, which they really only do if you're terminated for theft or violence, and even violence can be negotiable if you talk to the right person. So as long as you weren't fired for stealing, you're almost guaranteed to get rehired.
I can say there is more to this story. For starters walmart is one of the most generous when it comes to missing work. Between ppto and points you can miss 13 days a year and still have a job. Next you miss a week it’s only 2 points. Then add in it’s very easy to get a hold of sedwick you easy get approved for sickness. The fact that you alllowed yourself to be terminated with points will make it hard to get back.
What are the points at Walmart?
Many companies use a point system. You can start at zero and for each time you are late, or call in sick without a Doctors note etc etc, it will deduct from those points. If you hit the maximum points allowed, you will be terminated. I will say there were always exceptions. If they liked you, they would allow you to get more points because it was up to the General manager of the store.
They do not have to re-hire you. If you didn't communicate with them while you were ill, or get a Doctors note, that could be why you were terminated. I worked for a big Box company for just over 25 years and those were the reasons some were let go.
I used to work for Walmart, I got terminated for my points also, I went one point over. But mine was because my 3 kids were sick at all different times, but the Walmart I worked at doesn’t take doctors notes.
You will know if you can be rehired if you go on the website it blocks you from applying then you know they blocked you from ever working there again or you can call the store and ask HR.
