I wish this wasn't so painfully relatable. Why does it take a thousand applications to get a phone call 😩

Seems most say they are hiring but not actually hiring. Very frustrating

That's unfortunately way to accurate for me right now lol. I feel like I apply to an insane amount of jobs but only get 1 or 2 that reach out to me to actually schedule an interview.

like

HAHAH I hate how relatable this is OP. It seems like everyone says they are hiring yet it has been rejection after rejection for me. I miss the days when it genuinly felt like it was not that hard to get a job.

Painfully accurate.

I feel your pain. I have been out of work since April and lost count of the amount of roles I've applied for....

Received a job offer. Was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on a concern I had about it. It's an entry level position, and I don't have much experience. The billables are 2040 a year. For billable hours in civil litigation and insurance defense, is 2040 hours for a 1st year associate on the high end in this field for a small or midsize firm? It seems like most attorneys I know have minimum requirements of around 1800. The compensation is around 80k a year.
