I work in pharmacovigilance/drug safety for clinical trials. I have 3 years experience but I haven’t had any luck coming across any of these jobs. I’ve been wanting to crossover into being a CRA. Anyone have any suggestions on how I can get my foot in the door?

Hello, I’m an associate (almost at the one year mark) at a midsize firm on the EPL team. I did about 2 years of employment law as a clerk during school and know that’s what I want to go into. I’ve asked for more EPL work but keep catching PI cases. I second-chaired an employment trial but don’t see any EPL work for the foreseeable future and wasn’t getting as much EPL exposure as I wanted before the trial. Any advice on a lateral move to a bigger firm with a broader range of EPL work?

What are your opinions on getting too much work in early phase of career? I have almost one year of experience and after switching to a new organisation I have like alot of work in my plate. Hi! I started at a new company 2 months ago and while I’m really enjoying my job so far, I’m having a hard time gauging whether or not I’m doing a “good job.” My role seems to be always evolving, which is fine and I actually enjoy being a support to the greater marketing team, but I feel like I need better defined targets to make sure I’m meeting expectations. Also, when I ask my boss what they’d like to see, I don’t ever get a clear answer. (Cont’d in comments)

How do you handle the next day after being up until 4am the night before on a deal? My other deal teams don’t know I was up so late, but obviously I’m going to be much slower in the morning. It sounds whiny to say “sorry for the delay I was up all night” when everyone else is also so busy...
