IBM is investing in entry-level hiring to build a strong leadership pipeline. It’s a great idea but will the Gen Z employees stay there or leave when companies without a management training program offer more money?

That's an interesting scenario. I've read that a lot of companies are cutting back on entry-level positions because AI can perform some of the lower level jobs. So your speculation about IBM potentially creating a farm team for other companies could be right on the money. At some point companies will need people to fill roles, and they probably would try to poach from IBM's class. You'd think people at IBM must realize that, so you have to wonder how sincere the effort really is.
Or maybe they will make it work.
